Run credible exams at national scale.
Author the questions, build the paper, deliver it under lock, watch it live, mark it, and issue a certificate anyone can verify. One platform, from a single department to a multi-campus university system.
- Multi-tenant architecture
- Ten roles, scoped access
- Complete audit trail
- Public certificate verification
One platform, from the first question to the final certificate.
Most institutions run assessment across four or five disconnected tools and reconcile the results by hand. MGT Alcor holds the whole lifecycle — authoring, delivery, invigilation, marking, analysis and certification — in one system, under one set of permissions.
- Question bank
- Assessment builder
- Exam engine
- Evaluation
- Proctoring and integrity
- Candidate management
- Reports and analytics
- Certification
Built for the two audiences that assess for a living.
Academic examination and corporate assessment ask different things of the same machinery. Both are first-class here.
Online examinations
Conduct scheduled examinations for a department, a campus or an entire university system. Sectioned papers, per-section timing, question randomisation, autosave, and resume after a dropped connection.
- Sectioned papers
- Question randomisation
- Per-section timing
- Autosave and resume
- Candidate manifests
- Live invigilation
Certification
Run certification programmes end to end: the assessment, the pass rule, the certificate template, generation in bulk, and a public verification page any employer can check without an account.
- Certification assessments
- Automatic marking
- Certificate templates
- Bulk generation
- Public verification
- Revocation and reissue
Employee assessment
Assess skills for hiring, promotion and training. Coding and SQL questions run against test cases; aptitude and knowledge papers mark themselves; subjective work goes to a named evaluator.
- Skills and aptitude testing
- Coding and SQL with test cases
- Recruitment screening
- Evaluator workflow
- Cohort analytics
- Result release control
The parts, and what each one actually does.
Question bank
Twelve question types — multiple choice, multiple select, true/false, fill in the blank, matching, numeric, short subjective, essay, coding, SQL, file upload and case study. Organised by subject taxonomy, tagged, versioned, and gated by an approval workflow so nothing untested reaches a paper. Bulk import accepts what people actually send: "MCQ", "Multiple Choice" and "mcq" all land in the same place.
Assessment builder
A seven-step wizard: details, sections, questions, scoring, security, scheduling, review. Save a configuration as a template and the next paper starts from it. Clone a live assessment without touching the original.
Exam engine
Full-screen delivery with a question palette, per-section timers, continuous autosave and resume after a dropped connection. A candidate who loses power mid-paper returns to the question they were on, with their answers intact.
Evaluation
Objective questions mark themselves the moment the attempt closes. Coding and SQL run against their test cases. Subjective answers go to an evaluator queue with the rubric attached, and results stay unreleased until someone with the authority to release them does so.
Analytics
Executive dashboards, question psychometrics, section and department breakdowns, and integrity analytics. Item-level statistics show which questions are doing work and which are only taking up time.
The same five moments, from both sides of the screen.
An examination is one sequence experienced by two people. Here is what each of them does.
Your team
Create
Build the question bank and assemble the paper.
Configure
Timing, scoring, security and the schedule.
Invite
Issue secure, per-candidate access.
Assess
Watch the live wall, review flags as they arrive.
Evaluate
Mark, moderate, release.
Your candidates
Invitation
A secure link, per candidate.
Password or one-time passcode.
Identity
Pre-flight photograph, reviewed by a person.
System check
Camera, microphone and connection.
Examination
Full screen, timed, autosaving.
Result
Scorecard, then a verifiable certificate.
Every flag is evidence, and every flag reaches a person.
Invigilation software that cannot show its working is not evidence, it is an accusation. MGT Alcor records what the browser and the server actually observed, scores the attempt on it, and puts every flag in front of a human reviewer before it affects a result.
What is monitored — seven signals, all live
- Tab switch
- Left full screen
- Copy attempted
- Paste attempted
- Sustained sound in the room
- Candidate stopped responding
- Connection lost
The exam window lost focus. Reported by the page itself, not inferred. The platform’s own description of a tab-switch flag

Security you can inspect, not just be told about.
Every action that changes a result, a role or a credential is written to an audit log with the person who did it. That is the security claim that matters in an examination system, and it is the one you can check on day one.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Role-based access, ten roles
- Capability-gated routes
- Complete audit log
- Session management and revocation
- Configurable password policy

Compliance-ready
MGT Alcor is built to support institutional compliance requirements including data residency controls and GDPR / DPDP obligations. Independent certification is in progress; we will publish the certificates and their scope when they are issued rather than describe them in advance.
Questions people ask before the demo.
See it run on your examination.
Bring a real paper, a real cohort and the constraint you think will break it. Thirty minutes, no slides.
No commitment, and no sales sequence afterwards unless you ask for one.
